Inspired by traditional graffiti, Virtual Graffiti provides a public
visual space in which passers-by can express themselves using modern mobile
digital technology. Passers-by can use their mobile phones, PDAs or even laptops
to populate the space with threaded conversations using SMS messages, graphics,
photos and animations.
Virtual Graffiti was conceived and developed by
David O'Loghlin, Tim Savage and Brendan Tangney, Centre for Research in IT in
Education (CRITE), Trinity College Dublin.
